Other storage increased after GDR3........

Last night I updated my Lumia 925 to gdr3.
Before updating I had 1.99 GB in the other storage option. Now it seems to have risen to 2.41 GB, which is nearly 0.5 GB more.
Not to mention, there's still about 350 Mb in temporary files.
This is starting to bug me now. I read somewhere, that a hard reset would fix this. I know this will erase all my data, but that's nearly 3 GB more!!
What do you guys think?

"Other" is no longer a category in the official "Phone Storage" part of settings.

Really don't see the problem here. It's 500MB more. You have more features in GDR3, those would pick up space. 500MB is not much space.

If it was 5GB more, then that would raise an issue.

I don't have a 925 (920) or GDR3, but my "Other" is over 900MB. I don't really panic about it, and my temp files are usually only around 18MB.

If you go into System > storage, select phone then you can see the temp storage. Try deleting that and see if it reduces the space.
My "other" is sitting at 980mb after the GDR3 preview update.
