I am also a non-Wp8.1 userwaiting for the final build, but I have seen people talking about that Yes, it has been resolved.
Try Storage Cleaner regularly if you're still on 8.

am just update my lumia to 8.1 , but why you are waiting for final built ? , is their is any thing missing on preview ?

Yes. They are so many bugs in 8.1 for preview version.

First of all there is no huge bug that stops one to get developer preview... And second thing they didn't solved the other storage issue, it's still there

I'd say yes. I used to have almost 700MB other storage with my HTC 8S and only a few MB can be deleted. Now, the "Other storage" is just 9MB and the Temporary Storage around 15MB or so, but can be easily deleted.

In addition, via Storage Sense I can see storage being reclaimed automatically, i.e., a few days ago I have 712MB available, but now it's 743MB without me doing anything.

None of these on my 8S, and you must be kidding about the comma.

Well I have heard from some that gaming took a hit in dev prev wp8.1, so I rather plat my games in 8 and wait for a month for it to fix.
Some says battery drains faster, some claims notifications problems, asphalt 8 lags on 8.1 etc

For me, the other storage seems to be solved. Man bugs have been fixed for the preview with yesterday's update.

Pd: The speed of apps in the SD depends of the class of SD I just have a 4 class SD and games rarely lag for me, the comma thing isn't a bug since you can put it back in keyboard options my guess is that they hid it because it was accidentally typed by users very often

Absolutely none of these issues on my 925. I might suggest a hard reset for you, with 8.1 installed it's not a huge hassle when you do a backup first.
