Otterbox Defender and 8x

While I love my new 8X and the Otterbox Defender rocks, the toggle for the on/off button quite plainly sucks. You have to press hard and hope you hit the sweet spot the first time. I was afraid it would eventually kill the power button. I fixed it by cutting a small wide rubber band into a small piece that was wide enough to fit over the slot for the power button and put the cover back over it. Viola, presses easy peasy now. Hope that helps anyone else with a Otterbox that has a finicky power button toggle.
