Outlook 2016 stuck on the process box.

When I try to open outlook 2016 on my computer it will just get stuck on the processing box.

I have deleted the entire office suite then reinstalled it but the problem persists. Any idea how to fix it?

I would rather not reinstall the entire windows on if possible.

I am running a office 365 subscription. Other Office programs are working information and opening fine without any issues.

Hi, I was wondering (hoping) that you may have found a solution to this as I'm also experiencing this issue on my windows 8 laptop which is affecting my work as I have to keep switching between different mail accounts on the online version of outlook.

Please get back to me if you've figured out how to fix this.

Just found the following instructions on how to fix this and it worked for me:

1. Navigate to C:\Users\<insert_user_name>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook
2. Delete the Outlook Data files (.nst and .ost extensions)
Restart Outlook. These files will be recreated upon account setup

I solved mine by opening outlook in safe mode
