Outlook battery drain

Anyone else noticing it? Since last W10 update to .494 outlook is consuming much more battery. It consumed 38% of my battery in the last 48h.

leave the syncing period for a longer time and if you can, disable it from background

Thanks for the tip, I already done that earlier today. Let's see if it improves.

However I didn't had this issue before. I also already tried soft reset but no luck.

keep it under observation for a couple of days and see what changes.

On the plus side, the anniversary update will be out next week so there would be a lot of fixes bundled with that

Well, it seems to be normal again. Today I checked and battery consumption of outlook is now <1%.

possibly one email might have had issues syncing this keeping the app on longer than necessary
