Outlook mail app can't sync

Hello,

My Windows 10 Phone has some difficulties updating my mail. Every time i go to my mail and tap the sync button it loads and then a screen pops up, that says: "Something went wrong, we can't sync at the moment.." and then it says an error code which might help solving the issue: Error code: 0x80070490.

I use my e-mail a lot so it's a big problem that i can't check them on my phone. I've also tried everything, and nothing works. Just an hour ago i reset it completely and deleted about 13000 emails that i didn't need, yet the problem still persists. Any sollutions/suggestions?

Go to acounts under settings. Make sure your Mail account is there and all the options are set correctly. Sometimes it may ask you to log back into your mail account for whatever reason. You can even remove the account and re-add it.
