Outlook mail on w10 mobile

I can't add my live account on the email app, I try to but it never shows up. I can add my Gmail but not my live.

are you sure you added it as a MS account? I added 5 MS accounts, 1 exchange account, and 2 gmail accounts, and they all work fine.

Let's just say, It says account added successfully but does not show up in the accounts menu on Outlook.

Can you pin it individually to the start screen from settings?

I am having this same problem... Just updated my main phone to W10, and now this LOL. Working so well on my test devices

What is happening is that the main Microsoft account is not being added to the Mail/Calendar apps. When it launches, it has the "+ Add Account" button. After going through the process of adding my Outlook account, it says it was successful. Then it goes back to the first screen, and does not show the newly added account.

If I try add an Exchange account, it says my email address is already added. So effectively, the Mail/Calendar apps cannot see the email for the account that the phone is using.

My phone is a Lumia 640 XL, but I don't think that has anything to do with the upgrade/apps

I had this same problem with my daughter's 640. A hard reset fixed it.

I had the same problem. A hard reset did it for me too.
