Hi all. Before I approach Outlook support, I wanted to check if anyone here has encountered the same problem and has a fix.
My wife and I have been using a shared “Family” calendar for years. Following the recent migration (I think) of Outlook dot com we have encountered a problem. She cannot add/delete/edit any items in the Shared calendar from her Outlook desktop app – I’ve checked but she only has read-only access to this calendar. However, she has full access (i.e. same as me) from the Win 10 Calendar app, the Calendar app from her Windows phone and also from the web via Outlook dot com. All very strange, but it seems as if the Outlook desktop app isn’t picking up the correct access rights for our shared calendar. I’ve tried removing and adding her account on the Outlook desktop app, but no joy.
Note: I don’t want to mess around with access rights on the calendar as clearly she can add/delete/edit the calendar via other apps & the web.
Anyone else have this problem or have any ideas.
