Overnight charging - does your phone get "topped up" periodically?

Hi, I've noticed that when I charge up my phone for extended periods, the battery percentage reaches 100% and stays there with the charging icon showing. When I remove the phone after about 10 hours the battery percentage quickly drops to about 90%, which is in line with the expected standby drain of approximately 1% per hour. I thought that the battery would receive "top up" charges to keep it near 100% but this does not seem to happen.

It's not a huge problem as I can just put it back on to get to full charge again, but just thought that this should happen automatically. Tested on two 925's and a 720 with both wired and wireless OEM chargers.
Anyone experienced this behaviour?

Thanks for any input.

my 730 once remover form 100% charge overnight drops to 99% in/under 15-20min of no use, though the battery usage later on is quite satisfying with a day and half but this doesn't matter to me anymore :)

Hi Blackadder. I have exactly the same results with my 720 and 830. Nothing to worry about as it seems quite normal behavior. Regards from Kalk Bay...

Interesting question. Never thought about it.

I took my Icon off the charger about an hour ago and I'm currently at 97%.
