Oxford advanced learners dictionary background download service

Hi everyone I noticed the dictionary was a red stripe deal this week and took advantage. However, the app needed to make an initial 400mb download of content but when I give the app permission to download it tells me that it's "unable to start background download service".

Any ideas what's going on? Is something in phone settings preventing it from initializing?

Help much appreciated.

May be you have accidentally disabled the background service of that application??!!

if you're using win phone 8 go to settings-> swipe left or right, background settings
if you're using win phone 8.1 go to settings-> battery saver

Hope this helps...But my opinion is 400mb for a dictionary? man you could have installed Advanced English Dictionary Free | Windows Phone Apps+Games Store (India)
