I received an email from Pageonce informing me of their name change to Check, and noticed at the bottom of the email, they state that their app is available for download. The list includes "iPhone/iPad, Android, and BlackBerry 10 (coming soon)".

What's the deal? Why are companies flat out blackballing Windows Phone like this?

How is BlackBerry 10 supported and Windows Phone is not? Market share? Number of available devices? Enthusiastic fan base? I feel like Windows Phone bests BlackBerry in arguably all but the latter of my cherry-picked metrics. As a former Blackberry fan, I feel that I have to make far less excuses for Windows Phone's shortcomings as I did for BlackBerry. I'd rather take Microsoft to task for what they've done wrong and wait for them to fix those things. I've seen them to more with WP in the past few months regarding shortcomings than I ever saw RIM do for my BB Storm (ugh).

So why all the WP hate from these companies and their developers?

Thoughts? Am I off base with this?

Is the Pageonce app not available in the store anymore? I've got it on my phone right now. I did notice the rather absurd platform support when I got the email though.

I asked on Twitter to Pageonce (Check) about it on the day they renamed. Every question, even ones asked after me were answered but not mine. So that might give you a hint.
