Parental controls for apps

My wife and I are in our 60s. My wife can download apps on her phone but when I try to I am told I need parental approval.
I have no idea how to fix this. On the Microsoft account page, my birthdate is listed as September 9th, 2013

Just have her go in to fix it or if its too difficult, sign up for a new Microsoft account with your correct date of birth.
