PayPal buys Paydiant

Wow. PayPal just bought Paydiant, they are the technology behind CurrentC (and other mobile pay apps). This payments thing is getting interesting. My guess is PayPal will move the tech beyond just QR codes and merge with their NFC solution. Paydiant was already working on Bluetooth LE too.

I just saw that article. I wonder if this would be the avenue MSFT would pursue with PayPal to figure out a Tap+Pay solution for the future of WP
