pc gets stuck up grading from windows 7

I got windows 7 im trying to upgrade to windows 10 but it gets stuck at end the screen goes blank and stays like it for hours. You turn it of it go back to windows 7. Thanks Alan

Do you have any antivirus installed. If so remove them before the upgrade. That's about the only thing I can think of.
