PDA question

Has Microsoft made any allowance for either WP OS or Windows 8 to be put on a iPod Touch type WiFi-only type device? Does Microsoft think small PDA devices will go extinct and everyone will be using minimum 7" tablets?

Hard to say what is in the mind of MS with regards to PDA type devices. Given their proclivity to changing the branding of much of their services perioodically such as live hotmail winndows live hotmail mesh live mesh etc its truly hard to know. There has been a lot talk MS should have named windows phone xphone or something without windows because of the issues with windows mobile and guilt by association.

Also I'm thinking I'd want Windows 8 on a PDA device rather then Windows Phone OS because WP is more geared towards consumer/hipster lifestyle and not work environment.
