People app and facebook integration

Why do my facebook contacts integrate with the people app on Windows 10 mobile but not on the desktop version? Is there a way to solve this?

Nope. I've tried. The people app on desktop is pretty pointless. What with being able to contact people through messaging, phone and sky video.
