People app crashes on 10240

People app crashes on RTM build, it opens waits at the splash screen and terminates itself. I tried the previous method, changing the contacts.txt file at AppData, but that file is missing. Is it only me facing this issue? Is there a practical solution for this problem?

Facing same issue for long in all recent builds.
