Phone doesn't detect headphones

Recently my Nokia Lumia 920 hasn't been able to detect any of the headphones I use on it. At first I thought it was because it had lint stuck in the headphone jack, but after cleaning it I still had the same problem. I've tried a soft reset and that also has not work. Does anyone have any recommendations?

If ur feeling brave order a new headphone jack from ebay and check out a disassembly vid on youtube and repair yourself, Easy enough if you are that way inclined
