Phone issues. Help?

So I switched from an iPhone 4 to a 920, and I couldn't be happier with this phone. However, there are a few minor annoyances I've found that I was wondering if you guys could help me with.

1. Nokia Maps and Drive rarely give me are rarely accurate about my position. They normally show me a few blocks over from where I actually am.

2. When I synced some of my music to the phone I had to turn the volume all the way up to be able to hear it, and even then it was barely audible. This is without headphones.

Hope you guys can help, or point me in the right direction.

I had the same issue in regards to #2 when I first got it, but it was solved quickly with a phone reset.

Do you have location services turned on?

Have you tried stepping outside to see if it can locate you better that way?

Location services are turned on. The only time I really use this is when I'm in my car.

careful now - there are two location settings

one is in settings/system page/location

other is in

settings/applications page/maps

(there are two settings pages once you get to the settings screen, swipe from right to left)

They're both turned on.
