Phone Lock Password

So I set my phone to have a password entered when my phone is locked. I have had it set for a while, but now I want to turn it off. But when I go back into settings->lock+wallpaper the password option is grayed out. Has anyone else experienced this? Maybe I am missing something, but I figured it would be easy to turn back off.

Are you connected to a work email server? Most likely that is a policy requirement and it wont allow you to disable the password till you delete that work account.

I tried removing my email account that I had associated with my domain using SBS 2011 but that didn't work either. Any other suggestions???

Actually this ended up working. When I first removed the account, it didn't allow me to turn the password option off. But I guess it needed time to sync, because a little while later it told me I no longer needed to have a password since the policy wasn't enforced anymore. Thank you for your help!
