Phone will not start, or reset

so my lumia 521 shut off on its own, thinking it was dead i put it on the charger, but it never left the charging screen, after 30 minutes i knew something was wrong. i tried starting the phone it wouldnt start. so i looked on here and youtube and tried all the button combos (mostly power button and volume down button) but nothing worked. i tried it with the phone plugged in and not. please help me. :crying:

Have you tried pulling the battery and let it sit for a few minutes then plug the battery back and see if that makes a difference.

Try this combo. Volume up+volume down + lock button + camera button. Keep pressing all the 4 buttons until the phone vibrates and Nokia logo appears.

To force start a windows phone you press and hold volume down and the power button at the same time, continue holding these two buttons for approx 15 seconds (until your phone vibrates)
