Phone's getting really warm.

So I just got the Surround and noticed that with just barely any usage, just news, etc.. that the device is getting really warm. It certainly gets warmer, quicker than my DroidX does..

Anyone elses getting really warm pretty quickly?

Mine gets warm after using the GPS/Netflix/Games

this was also the case with all my android phones sans the netflix

Yeah, my DX gets warm but after a long period of use.. seems like my Surround gets hot very quickly, few minutes..

Could be load or just the fact that your comparing a 65nm chip to a 45nm chip guess which one produces more heat. I felt the same way when I left my d1 for a d2 the d1 would heat up quickly. Now im waiting for wp7 and the msm 8655 to meet that will be good

My surround gets hot when playing quickly, but then again my HTC dream was worse...

GPS? Are you using an app for that or ATT Navigator? I am opposed to using ATT apps after hearing about the radio app.

mine too gets a bit warm after gaming

Mine got hot (bottom back of phone) as the battery got low last night. Like little red light blinking low. I wasn't using it, just sitting on the table.

Strange.
