Photos not getting backed up (HTC 8x)

I recently turned on this feature after having it off for most of my time with the phone only to find that over a two day span no photos have been backed up to my SkyDrive. What gives?

Have to have WiFi enabled.

Are you allowing it to update OTA or is it requiring a wi-fi connection? In the settings there are 2 options depending on the quality of photo you want backed up.

You always have the option of manually uploading. When you go to your photo albums, just select the photos you want to upload and one of the options on the options menu is to save to Skydrive. You can also use the share option, which also lists skydrive.
