Physically Disabling Vibration

Is there a way to physically disable the vibrator?
I done borked my phone and it vibrates all the time (I mean ALL the time).

It's a part that's sold as a replacement part and I saw a clip on You Tube, sorry I don't have the link

Interestingly enough, the constant vibration stopped.
I was holding it, last night, and it just stopped.
It vibrates, like normal, with a call.
I guess I have no reason to rip it out, anymore.

No reason that stops my phone from vibrating, incessantly.
