Hey guys, can you compare the low light shots from Lumia Camera 5 to Lumia Camera Classic, both on Denim? On 830 the Lumia Camera Classic takes better pictures with less noise, better color reproduction and more details than Lumia camera 5.

@Grodelj: Nice pictures, color captures the atmosphere well. Too bad the last picture has the rock in focus, would be interesting to see a comparison with the fog in focus.

The first one, I find that the edges are pretty strong out of focus. Not seen it that bad on my 930, what about others (yeah, I know this is not a DSLR ).

Good point - results were interesting.. I think it's not so much color as overexposure even with identical meter settings on all three shots:

1) Denim Camera 5 ISO 64


2) Denim Camera 5 ISO 100


3) Lumia Camera Classic ISO 100

You guys have some amazing shots (and places to take them in). I just received my 930 (with Denim) today via FedEx, but I'm stuck inside at work. Are there any primers or good explanations of the different settings, capture modes, living images, and use of the camera in general to read while I'm stuck at my desk?

Just got denim. While it was downloading I snapped some pics to have them as a reference. Then tried to replicate them with denim. I will post them later but so far I noticed them to be much more contrast and with less details in dark areas. Kind of disappointing

Yep, you can see it really clearly in dicks-webos picture of the Freisinger Dom (that church/cathedral/whatever it is ). The bottom with the seats is just completely black, totally crunched. It's good for who ever likes contrasty pictures, but sad to see on a phone with the Pureview label where photography is a big selling point .

i wanted to upload some pictures for comparison, but I noticed th phone chose different settings for basically the same scene.
On Denim it chose a lower ISO, and the scenes are darker, I should have shot them on manual.
