I have a mixed feeling for camera of this phone. In some ways it's great, in some it sucks. Low-light photography is amazing and macro mode is great. I am really impressed with that. But auto mode often is a miss, and settings need to be adjusted often or images may end up with unnecessary noise or washed out in daily light. Whenever light is dimmed a little bit, photos are great. And of course, as with most Lumias, white balance often needs to be readjusted.
Anyway, camera is nice and more than capable. Please note, I'm not saying this as a pro, just my thoughts.

was playing around with some settings, took a bit of playing around to get a decent shot, but overall satisfied and worlds better than i would have gotten with my moto x in that environment.

Hope not, this camera is fantastic (especially at macro photography). Just upgraded from my old Lumia 900 and i'll be damned if another operating system upgrade screws me over. Sticking with WP8 and this awesome phone until i'm very sure they get W10 Mobile right.

Actually i think the hdr mode in win 10 is nt upto the mark. The photo is getting a little washed out when taking pics with HDR mode on.

Yes, I did. Colors seem duller, higher ISO is favored instead of longer exposure times so pics are often more noisy and white is usually blown out more than on 8.1.

However, that may be due to a TP and lack of driver, that for sure isn't final result. will see once they release it with proper firmware.
