Picture messages Failing

I'm having a hard time sending/receiving pic messages?
I was trying to send one a few days ago and it failed. Tried to receive one last night and it failed.
I powered the phone down and tried again and still failed. So then (while at home) turned off the wifi connection and it worked.
Just got into work (with the wifi still off) sent one and it failed the first time and went through the 2nd time.

Any thought's on why it's not working?

What version of winmo do you have?

I'm going to take mine into verizon tonght and get 6.5 to see if that makes a difference... which it shouldn't :/

???? Is the VZW TP2 6.5 upgrade out now? I haven't seen anything about that.

I have tried a few MMS messages with pics when I first got my TP2 and it worked fine. But either it is me that hass very poor luck with any wifi, or I am just surrounded by weak routers? Cause even on my BB Bold, the 3G was always faster than the wifi connections I would get. So I rarely even try to use it.

As for me, today I had the strangest problem. Everytime I tried to send/receive E-Mail, I kept getting the dialog box saying I had no connection. Even tbough I had plenty of bars and the data was enabled in comm manager (for some odd reason, that seems to disable itself???). I was trying to send a mail to my work address. then all of a sudden, for the next hour my work PC kept getting the same mail over and over! When I looked at my outbox, the same message was still sitting in there, even though it had been sent near 20 times. Weird, huh? Once I deleted that mail, it never sent out again.

I have WM 6.1 on mine and go back & forth between TF3D and the awesome SPB Shell 3.5

What carrier are you on it may be a carrier imposed limitation like VZN stripping out the gps stuff so you have to use VZN Navigator.

i thought picture messaging went through the text messages? if not it might be like other cell phone apps that require the data connection (not wifi) to work.
