Pinned Playlists

Does anyone know of a way to make the playlist tiles I have on my 7.8 start screen more interesting than just a green block with the name of the playlist on it?

I was hoping it would cycle through the different album art like the people or groups tiles but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Am I doing something wrong or is there no way to make this happen?

I don't think it can happen. My WP 8 treats playlists the same way.
