PINSentry error using Barclays mobile banking app

I've been unable to use the mobile PINSentry for nearly a month. Finally got around to calling Barclays to be told that's its a known error affecting all phones and should be fixed today, though he didn't specify whether that's a server side update or an app update.
Anyone else having issues with this feature on the app?
