pixel density vs actual resolution

So, I was thinking about this one for quite a while. Some people say, that QHD screens are overkill, because you just can't see pixels anymore, no mather how close you get. But on the other hand, QHD monitors aren't so "nutorius" about being too much, even though you can't see pixels from the viewing distance or anything. So, which is more important to you - pixel density or actual number of pixels?

I cant say for sure.

Although if it were me, and between pixel density and panel quality, I'd pick the quality. (basically something like the 520's display vs. the better yet not-as-sharp 635's display.)

But I'm trying to figure out the comparison between those, and I cant really compute it.

I try not to get wrapped up in stats and specs, and just look at/try everything for myself and choose based on what I like best.
