Users got what they asked for. I remember when smart phones was first released, the backing was plastic. Everyone was complaining about it being plastic and it should have been metal. They got what they wished for. Now some are looking back and realised plastic was better.

I actually like the plastic backs on the samsung note series and did not like the change to metal and glass. I do not like cases and the plastic backs made it easier to switch them out and they were not as slippery.
