Is there any news on bringing/integrating the play to app in the 8.1 update? I appreciate that Nokia want's to differentiate their phones but the play to is a windows feature so I don't see why it can't be available to all phones...

Windows Phone 8.1 will be able to mirror via USB connection and via Miracast on supported hardware. PlayTo support hasn't really been mentioned, and I can't find it in the emulator, so I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Pity, it can be found all across Windows 8.1, yet is nonexistent in Windows Phone 8.1, far as I can tell.
