Podcast syncing

Is anyone else having trouble (duplicates) with their WP7.5 podcasts syncing after making the switch to Windows 8. It used to be such a smooth system, I'd listen to an episode and Zune would take care of the rest. Now I can listen to something and two weeks later Zune is still trying to sync it up with my phone! Verizon Trophy (holding out).

The biggest problem I have had so far with this is the transition away from Zune. Apparently, there is a problem with the old feeds and many of my old podcast that I listen to have gone away.
