Poor trackpad scrolling

Just got my pro3 yesterday and it's a badass machine, really liking it so far! But my one annoyance is that the type cover 3's track pad scrolling is awful. It feels like it not doing "enough" scrolling, I have to run my finger over it like 3 times more than normal to get anywhere on a webpage. I have a 2520 and the keyboard cover for that actually scrolls better than the surface. Anyone having this problem also? Know of a fix?

It is poor, I gave up and use touch screen to scroll.

Probably will just return the keyboard seems over priced

No the only options that it gives you is for a mouse wheel, which is obviously of no help. And scrolling direction.

My complaint too...there are no trackpad settings. I really want 2 or 3 finger swipe or tap to go back a web page but there's no setting for that either. Every modern laptop has trackpad settings - cannot figure out why none for the Surface 3.

Came on here to post about this as well. Does anyone know of a registry edit that can be made to adjust the speed of the touchpad when scrolling? None of the options I change anywhere on the device seem to affect the touchpad, just external mice.

The trackpad scrolling is definitely poor. However, I have come to realize that I am using it wrong! (ok ok... cheap jab at fruit co.) I am getting used to flicking on screen and now I try to just scroll using the touch screen.

Interesting, sounding like the same issues I was having with my surface2 kb. I ended up getting a mouse for it. I'm surprised this hadn't been properly addressed with this upgrade.
