Portico Update for Windows Phone 7.8?

Can anyone tell me if the portico update, specifically the update that will keep the wifi on will be rolled out to Windows Phone 7.8 or is it just for Windows phone 8?

Only for WP8. Although possible, it is currently presumed unlikely that a similar update will come to WP7.8

Unlikely to implausible. Microsoft gave us their half-assed effort to push out 7.8, which was filled with multiple bugs and remained unresolved until two updates later. I highly doubt they'd even provide us WP7 users another update.
