Oh Lort! Enough of the racing talk, I'm still in recovery after 25 years away. Like many, I started with autocross and gymkhanas running Spitfires, German Ford Capris and Mustangs. Moved up to Formula Vee and a brief stint with Formula Fords. Also like many, a new bride put racing on hold.......for 25 years now and counting. No regerts.

Sent from my Lumia 950 on mTalk

You still get to race around doing your honey do list! 🤣

I am entering that phase myself, at least until the kids are old enough to go with me and give the wife some alone time.

Woo, Instagram update seems to have newer face filters. Don't really use them but noticed an update to the app today

I still can't get the update. I have a Lumia Icon and a Lumia 535, and there are no available updates :/
Do you know if I need to do something to get the update?

Sorry I'm not sure. I don't even like it cause it seems to launch right into creating a story instead of the Instagram home. Annoying actually. This is on my Alcatel Idol 4S.... my 950xl out of commission again so I can't check on that. I think Instagram won't update the lower model phones like your icon and 535... nothing on my 650 and Lumia 920

omg, clicked a link in my twitter feed to an on demand streamon.fm ... and it works! Didn't work last year :) From Edge, can't let the screen time out or it'll stop... sometimes it seems to get stuck and needs the progress button messed with to get it going.... but hey, better than not working!

I've been creating web wrappers for a lot of the apps that are missing and sideloading them. Stuff like Amazon, my bank, etc so I can have an app-like experience using them instead of inside a browser. So many of these have great mobile websites now that the only thing needed is notifications. While some will say wow, waste of time, I find it really nice being able to multi-task between the apps vs using them inside the browser. The experience is much better. BTW, if the website supports email or SMS notifications, there ya go. A solution that, while not the desired, works.

I haven't paid attention, not sure it's a great idea, but my mom's Lumia 640 is having the 15254.490 update waiting to download. Aka 2018-07 Update for arm-based Phone devices

It is on 15063.1088. Just need to figure out how to give it space to update

My 920, also was last stuck on 15063.16 i think... I spoofed it to be a 950xl but wasn't getting any FP2 updates. Forever.... That is now updated to 15254.490 as well.

Accidental? Not sure, maybe the performance will totally suck lol too. Oh well lol, neat to see something change that's all

Microsoft recently updated the Mail and Calendar app for Windows 10 Mobile and changed the default signature from "Sent from my Windows 10 phone" to "Sent from my Windows 10 Device".

Kinda cool and kinda sad. In one way we know Windows Phone lost their future with Windows 10 Mobile. In another perspective this just means that this app is being planned out to work on any device capable of loading it, which at the moment is only ARM based windows phones running Windows 10 Mobile. :)

My wife and i are on vacation in the USA , moving from state to state, we're from Caribbean,i have 950XL , she has 950, getting stuff done can be hard should we don't have certain apps, I'd have to contact my cousin who's invested fully in iOs sure to his job at amazon to get stuff done. I've tested his iPhone X but nothing comes closer to simplicity of W10m UI. I was thinking of getting iPhone but I'm gonna stick to my 950XL a bit more longer
