Possible solution for Lumia 920 not being able to share internet with Windows 8 PCs!

Hi all!
For all those who have been having this problem, you might wanna try this:

After months of trying to connect my Windows 8 notebook and PC to my L920 and after trying all the different tricks mentioned on this forum without success, I think today I finally found a way to do it.
And if it's working for me so far, it might work for somebody else!

Go to settings on your phone and simply change the highest connection to 3G instead of LTE and VOILA !!! My computers connected as soon as I did this!

I don't really know why but this is really working for me when all the other tricks like putting a DNS server or ticking the FIPS box didn't work ...

I'm actually writing this post from my notebook connected to my L920 for the first time !!! :excited:

Nope. I have the Rogers pentaband L920 Unlocked ...

Odd I use Internet Sharing on my 920 to my Lenovo W530 running Windows 8 and have never had a problem. I have AT&T and LTE here in my area also. I do it because LTE is so much faster than my company's internet and it saves me a lot of time downloading drivers and patches etc. What is the problem you have?
