Possible to use India 730 in North America?

Hi all, first time posting here, but have been lurking on these forums for a while.

Been waiting for the new Lumias (since before their official announcement) to come to the US, especially the 730/735's. Since it does not appear that will happen soon, I had a moment of weakness and made an offer for a dual sim 730 on Ebay from India, and find myself now awaiting its arrival. The posted specs regarding frequency bands indicated it should work for US/Canada GSM carriers, but I really don't have any experience with using foreign market phones. I'm curious if someone more experienced in the matter can comment on if they've had any issues? I expect there would be no warranty coverage here. Will there be problems with getting future WP updates?

Nope there won't be any issues as far as using it on ATT is concerned (if you're in the US). You'll get HSPA+ at the max but no LTE which I guess you might already know. Updates would still be pushed when Microsoft updates the India CV ROM. If using it on T-Mobile USA then the max speed you could get its HSPA+ if you live in a T-Mobile refarmed area. If not then you'll be stuck with 2G

Yes you can use it as long as you have roaming.

You don't need roaming to use it on AT&T in the USA.
