Possible update in near future

I was listening to the All About Windows Phone podcast this morning, and they mentioned a possible firmware update coming from Microsoft in the next week. If it's true, hopefully it's for the battery issue.
 
Microsoft doesn't push firmware updates but the device manufacturers do, unless they are talking about pushing OS updates
