Hey bro...Window's Phone 8.1 has folders. No 3rd party app needed.

Changed it to circles, not sure which I like better. This also looks really cool with the dark theme!

OK, tried something a little weird here. I was experimenting with folders and found that if I add three blank tile colors (about four of each color or something) into a folder, they will constantly move, creating a "new" animated start screen background every few seconds. I used teal, white and slate. Let me know what you think...I like it a lot.

Can't seem to find it in the US Store, is it region specific?

EDIT: Found it but no permission to install. Bummer.

i used pinpng to make the character pictures transparent and used the non-transparent tiles for the characters to "stand on." The pictures are small due to the limitss of the pinpng apps but i got to put a lot of them in: 14 in total including the logo.

While I love the idea of transparent tiles/backgrounds I've started to not like a bunch of tiles that all have white icons inside a square with the same background as the rest.
that's why I use the non transparent tile/ theme color whenever possible and spread out my native apps. I do like that I can use a solid color though as a background and get more colors that the standard steel, cobalt, crimson, etc... Even if it is just on the start screen.

Fairly minimal tile set. Background was generated using one of the paid OneStart generators.
