Power save mode on -> still getting Emails

Did you go to the advanced settings of power save mode?

There are three options: Until battery is low, until next charge, and always on.

I think the default is until battery is low, so if your battery isn't low, I assume even though the setting is on, it won't activate until maybe 20% (not sure about the number) of battery is left.

This is different than WP7 where there were no advanced settings and it was always "until next charge" and if you plugged it in power save mode would turn off.
