Pre-ordered band shipped?

Hey guys, I just got the email from Amex saying there is a credit card charge from Microsoft which is the amount of the band. I went back and check the Pre-order policy of Microsoft store and found:" A credit card is required for pre-order, but your card will not be charged until your order is shipped or the product is made available for download. "

Does this mean my band is shipped or at least will be shipped far earlier than March 17th?

Hi, this is not MS. It's a user forum so asking a question like that here will not get you an answer.

You need to contact MS at their Store site.

I called and spoke with Microsoft today and they told me that no the band has not shipped it is just a hold on the money in the account. Kind of like when you buy gas and the pump puts a $50 hold on your account while your filling up..

Mine said your credit card will not be charged until the your order is AVAILABLE. My card was charged as well. Must mean I will be getting the band I ordered for my hubby (to shut him up :wink on or before the 17th. Woohoo!!

I guess we should not be too happy about this. The MS representative I talked to said the charge on the credit card is just a hold and will not be final until the band is shipped. But still hope MS can beat the the 17th. Fingers crossed.

Interesting... The first post in this thread is from 03-06, which implies emails for those in the weight list started going out then. I didn't get my email until 03-10, but the ship date is still supposed to be by 03-17-2015. Here's to hoping.

The email should be going out no later than 03/03 which is when I ordered the band

They sent multiple waves of emails, FIFO. At least, I saw where a rep said that online. And I didn't get an email until 3/10.

No shipping confirmation for me yet.
