Preview developer app

Hi chaps. I installed 8.1 on my HTC8s a while ago and it's ok, however, I also have a Nokia 710 that I want to put 8.1 on ( it runs 8 at present). When I go to sign in on the Nokia for Microsoft it won't allow me. Is this because my HTC is already logged in?
How can I get the preview developer app on the nokia so I can update it to 8.1?

It is impossible for a Lumia 710 to run windows phone 8, let alone 8.1

My mistake. It runs 7.8 I think. Just done more research and it would seem that an update is not possible. There is a video on YouTube of a 710 with what looks like and claims to be wp8.

Well that's all but certain to be a fake.
We didn't have all that hoopla about not updating 7 devices for nothing.
