Print half sheets with your Printer

Anyone know how to print on a half a page, I have numerous half sheets I could use occasionally ?

Think about it. standard paper size is 8 1/2 x 11
Are your pages 8 1/2 x 5 1/2??
When you print you have to tell the printer what size the paper is. Can you select a paper size of 5 x8 on your printer??

I understand that, that is the flexibility I want though; I may have to re-check my printer settings but any suggestions are welcome, unless I find a solution.

I found within my printer settings I can change the print sheet size.
