problem when upgrading to cyan on lumia 520

i had windows 8.1 preview for developers on my lumia 520, when i used to check for cyan update it showed different sort of errors so i tried the nokia software recovery tool.
when i used it i automatically got the cyan update. i didn't have to check for update and download it over the air, it just automatically got updated through usb. my problem is that i'm unable to restore my previous data as it get stucks at 21%. need help on how to restore my data

around 30 minutes it was stuck , then it said your restoration will be partial.
i proceeded from that step and then did a hard reset of my phone.
when during reset procedure i was prompted to sign into microsoft account i chose later.
will my data be restored when i sign in later?
