Hi everybody. I have just bougth used Alcatel idol 4s windows 10 phone and noticed that it is a bit slow sometimes (shows some laggs). So I wanted to flash my phone with
open market ffu file using Microsoft WDTR. But no success! I always get error message. What should I do? Should I use T-mobile ffu variant? And if I can use it, is it possible to lock my phone since I am not from US. If not, do I lose some features from Windows 10 mobile OS?

To find out what version you have, go to the about section in the sections and it will tell you - usually under provider.

So for my L930 it Says CV GBIE which means Country variant for Great Britain.

OK. My phone version is:
a) model: Alcatel idol 4s with windows 10 NA
b) firmware revision number: 1052.16.09031.50700
c) hardware revision number: 0.0.0.3
d) chip SOC version:8996

Currently we have only one way to reflash the open market model because of that ffu issue you experienced. Follow these directions here.

You can read more about the issue on the open market model FFU here: http://forums.windowscentral.com/showthread.php?t=457103
