Problem with magnifying screen

I have a lumia 535 and had a lumia 720 before that. I seem to be pressing a shortcut that gets the screen to magnify 'excessively' i.e. I can read an entire text on one screen. This often happens when I have locked the screen and put it in my pocket, so I'm guessing there is a shortcut I'm activating unknowingly. Any ideas what short cut that is? And more importantly how to turn it off or revert to normal screen size? Right now I have to turn off the phone and turn it back on again.

You have to go to settings and in that ease of access, you will get an option of screen magnifier.. Just turn it off

Use 2 fingers tap to zoom in / out. 2 fingers to scroll. This is supposed to work flawlessly on paper but the touch screen issue on the Lumia 535 makes it unusable.
