Promoting an app via AppDeals or myAppFree

Does any of you have any experience with promoting an app via AppDeals (AppDeals), myAppFree (myAppFree for Windows Phone. Free candy, everyday - myAppFree) or any other app / website like this? Does it worth it?

Hi Jiri!
I have experience of promoting my app Monetal with a myAppFree about a half a year ago. If normal downloads was about 30-40 per day, in this day I got about 3000. But I haven't noticed rating changing or something else.
