PSA: Red 920 for $.10 at Walmart (in store, YMMV)

Not all stores have them(most don't probably) but at one Walmart I was at today they had the red 920 for $.10 with 2 year contract.

If you're not looking for the latest and greatest, it's a pretty good deal

this is not a good deal when you can buy it off contract on ebay for around $200. not worth the contract

That's cheap alright, but is it a good idea to lock yourself into a 2 year contract with a 920? It's already been a year and a half since it was released.

In europe we did have the exact same system, and they're starting to forbit it (they already did in France and Belgium, and they're doing it in Spain, I don't know for other countries). Excellent idea.

I've lived in California my whole life. Our consumer's lack of understanding of how contracts work is why we're stuck paying $15/gig for data when the rest of the world pays half of that. Honestly you putting up a Lumia 920 for 10 cents just proves my point. You think it actually costs 10 cents but if you factor in your plan it costs much more than that.
