The Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 is a wear-and-tear-nightmare, and thanks to Razer, a far better alternative exists now.

Jez, while I agree that the issues with the Elite Series 2 are frustrating, I would point out that fixing common problems is fairly easy to do. Toolkits to open up the controller without marring it to oblivion are easy to find and fairly cheap. Most bumper issues and some stick drift problems can be cleared up with compressed air and a contact cleaner like BW100, which is also cheap and lasts a long time. I've resolved issues with my own Elite 2 (and a friend's who also had a bumper issue and stick drift) this way and it was back to good-as-new in just a few minutes.
The Wolverine looks great and I love the Hall-Effect sticks, but for someone who may already have the Elite 2 that is having problems, it might be worth the lower cost and a few minutes of effort to fix it rather than dropping a couple hundred on a new controller. I also would point out that the Razer will take a USB port from you for the dongle, which might make a difference for some.
